Darth Vader
Darth Vader, originally known as Anakin Skywalker, is a central character in the Star Wars saga. Anakin Skywalker begins as a heroic Jedi Knight and pilot with exceptional Force sensitivity. However, he succumbs to the dark side of the Force, becoming Darth Vader, a Sith Lord and enforcer of the tyrannical Galactic Empire.
Anakin’s fall to the dark side is depicted in “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.” Manipulated by Emperor Palpatine (Darth Sidious), Anakin turns against the Jedi Order, adopts the Sith name Dart Vader, and plays a pivotal role in the rise of the Galactic Empire. His transformation is marked by a tragic series of events, including his belief that joining the dark side will grant him the power to save his loved ones.
