Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker is the central protagonist of the original trilogy of films and plays a significant role in the broader Star Wars universe. Luke is portrayed as a farm boy from the desert planet Tatooine who becomes a key figure in the Rebel Alliance’s fight against the tyrannical Galactic Empire.
Luke is introduced in “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope” as an idealistic and restless young man. His life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers a message hidden within the droid R2-D2, leading him to join forces with the Rebel Alliance and embark on a journey to become a Jedi. Luke undergoes significant character development. He learns the ways of the Force, confronts the dark truths about his lineage (including the revelation that Darth Vader is his father), and ultimately fulfills his destiny as a Jedi Knight.
